Your store,
in 3D, on the web.
RealWeb scans a brick-and-mortar shop with LiDAR and turns it into a store people can walk through from their phone. Not photos. Not a 360° tour. The actual room, the actual shelves, with a Buy button on every product.
Online shopping flattened the store into a grid of thumbnails. RealWeb puts the room back.
A good shop is a place. The light, the way things sit next to each other, the corner you drift into without meaning to. None of that survives a product listing. A LiDAR scan keeps all of it, at centimetre accuracy, and the browser is finally fast enough to let people wander through it on a phone.
So the pitch is simple: scan the real store once, wire the products on the shelves to the checkout you already use, and open the doors to everyone who can't drive there.
- Rows of identical thumbnails
- You only find what you search for
- Every store looks like every other store
- Nothing to remember
- The real room, the real shelves
- You find things by walking past them
- Your taste, your displays, your light
- A place people come back to
- 01PresencePeople remember spaces, not SKUs. A visit to a scanned store sticks the way a visit to the real one does.
- 02DiscoveryHalf of what sells in a small shop is something the customer wasn't looking for. Aisles do that. Search boxes don't.
- 03TrustSeeing the actual shop, with the actual stock on the actual shelf, says more than any "about us" page.
- 04ReachThe shop stays open at 2 a.m., in another state, for the customer who moved away and still misses it.
Scan it once. Open it everywhere.
Three steps, and the store owner only has to be there for the first one.
Scan
Twenty to forty minutes walking the floor with a LiDAR scanner. An iPhone Pro handles a boutique; a tripod scanner handles a showroom. The result is millions of measured points, true to the centimetre, with the real colour and light.
Build
The point cloud becomes a light, clean 3D model that streams in seconds. Every product on a shelf gets a hotspot tied to your inventory and the checkout you already use: Stripe, Square or Shopify.
Open
One line of code embeds the store on your website, or we host it at its own link. Shoppers walk the aisles, tap a product, pay. It runs in the browser on any phone. No app, no headset.
Walk a store without leaving this page.
This is a stand-in room built in the browser so the page works anywhere. A real RealWeb store is the scan of your actual shop, with your actual stock.
Built for the shops that are worth walking into.
If people say "you have to see this place" about your store, RealWeb is for you.
What a store gets
- A LiDAR scan of the real space, cleaned and lit for the web
- Product hotspots on the shelves, wired to live inventory and checkout
- An embed for your site and a standalone link to share
- Works on phones, tablets and desktops in the browser, nothing to install
- Re-scans when the floor changes: new season, new display, new room
- Walk analytics: where people go, what they linger on, what they tap
- Owner's notes and a "come say hi" video pinned to the counter
- Opening hours, directions and the real address, because the store is real
Measured, not modelled.
The room is captured, not drawn. That is what makes it feel like the real place and not a video game of it.
What it is not
Not a 360° photo tour you click between. Not a VR app. Not a "metaverse". It is your store, on your website, in the same browser tab your customers already have open.
Status
RealWeb is a project in development at The Bailey Perspective. The demo on this page is a stand-in room; the pipeline from scan to web store is what we're building first, with real shops.
Want your store to be one of the first?
Tell us about the space: what you sell, roughly how big the floor is, and where it is. We'll come back with what a scan would involve.
