Blossom is the first festival on FestGuru

Blossom is a three-night music and wellness gathering in Southern Arizona, April 23–25, 2027, with a twist: the people who buy the first 3,333 tickets vote the main stage into existence, one slot a week. It is the first festival to run its participant app on FestGuru. Blossom calls it the Blossom Guide, and it is FestGuru in Blossom's own colours.

Two apps, one weekend

Blossom's own app does the money and the democracy: the ticket, the rotating gate pass, the weekly ballot and a resale market with a floor that never drops. That part is theirs and it stays theirs.

The Guide is the festival itself. It is the FestGuru participant app, provisioned as a tenant called blossom, with the theme pulled from blossomfest.org by the Theme Studio in about a minute and a half: the cream paper, the marigold and lupine palette, Fraunces and Karla, the lotus mark, the desert photography. Nothing in it was hand-styled.

What a participant gets

  • The schedule as it is voted in. Every Saturday Blossom announces a winner. FestGuru watches Blossom's public feed and mirrors each announced act onto the main-stage line-up, unscheduled until the organiser gives it a slot. The daily arc is already there: sunrise yoga, ceremony and sound healing, workshops, the main stage from four until one, the fire until four.
  • The map, once the site is named.
  • Quests and points. First Bloom, Golden Hour, Main Stage Moments, Sound of the Desert, Three Nights.
  • Shoot and share, filed to the right stage and set, with the best picked for the gallery.
  • Help and SOS with a pin and a photo, straight to the crew, with a clock on it.

Linking a ticket

The piece we built for Blossom, and kept generic, is the partner ticketing link. A ticket holder opens the Guide from a signed link in their ticket email or inside the Blossom app. FestGuru asks Blossom's server, over a shared secret, whether that link belongs to a real ticket holder. If it does, the account gets the Sprout badge and 222 points before the gates open, and one Blossom account can only ever be linked once. No wallet, no address, no copying codes.

Any festival with its own ticketing can do the same. The partner only needs one endpoint that answers "is this token one of mine, and how many tickets?"

Why it matters

Festival apps are usually bought and then abandoned, because the schedule in them goes stale and the people who could fix it are busy running a festival. Blossom's schedule writes itself from the vote. The Guide gets the next winner the moment the crowd does.
